Description:
We are seeking up to 3-4 research assistants to work on a pollinator project two days a week to track bee pollinators in Southern Utah.
Responsibilities:
- Recording presence of bumblebees in the Southern Rockies.
- Assisting with trapping and following honey bees.
- Nest-searching and monitoring.
- Familiarity with basic GIS technology.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in insect and plant collection and identification.
- Preference will be given to students who have taken BIOL 3435 (Entomology).
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in ecological field methods.

Note: This position will entail working outdoors in all kinds of weather, walking variable distances, and driving on backcountry roads (transportation will be provided).
